Simple BEGINNINGS

In May of 1982, my father was involved in a motorcycle incident. As a result, he became paralyzed, and we lost everything. Growing up for me became a little different,  adjusting to a dad who used to play and ride bicycles with me, to being confined to stay inside the house in a wheelchair.

As time passed, it began to dawn on me that I hadn't been doing much with my own father. I was by no means a good runner, but we began to participate in races together as a way to stay connected. We started out small with a 5k, and just a year later completed a full marathon. It was after these races that I became sore, and unfortunately, there were no books written for the best way to recover after pushing 200 pounds in a wheelchair. It got to the point where I just needed to get past the pain and soreness, and so I started to craft my own ointment. From there, Jimmy's Natural Ice was born. It wasn't like any other ointment I had used before, and it lasted through my whole training sessions. When I first made my product, it was really just for me. I'd take it with me wherever I trained, and eventually people started asking about it. It got to the point where I had just placed a tub out at my gym for anyone to use. From there, it quickly took off with trainers and others. Before I knew it, I had people asking where they could purchase my ointment and therefore Natural Ice was born.
